Kira Evans commissioned Steven Noble to illustrate this new logomark for the Washington International Horse Show (WIHS). The Washington International Horse Show was founded in 1958 and quickly became a prestigious event for riders of all ages. Over the years, many breeds and disciplines participated including Arabians, Cutting, Dressage, Walkers, Quarter Horses and Hunter/Jumper. The task at hand was to illustrate the logomark with the symbolic George Washington on is horse as the centerpiece and generate two versions for large and smaller applications in this traditional engraving classic style.
